03.07.12 - Good Boy

Recently, baby likes to sleep with tummy down and this constantly tend to wake him up as he will tend to do tummy time with his eyes closed and get a shock. So mummy got to constantly wake up to carry him and make him lie flat to sleep, not forgetting the patting so that he can fall asleep faster so that Mummy can sleep. Today baby wake up rather early but Daddy has left for work before 7am so Mummy has to bring baby to nanny house. At 7:17am, Mummy did her first pump together with baby on bed. Once finished, baby is transferred to exersaucer so that you can play by yourself and Mummy can get ready to work.
Baby being a good boy is playing with the toys in exersaucer till Mummy is ready and pick you up to nanny house. Love you and Mummy is missing you sooo much while writing this. Maybe Mummy should not miss you so much so that baby will not miss Mummy as much as nanny said that our thoughts tends to link together and baby will not be able to sleep well as missing Mummy.

02.07.12 - Little Cao Cao Diary

Today auntie Faith was asking Mummy whether Mummy has created a blog for baby and she wants to read it. Hehhehe... but Mummy didnt give as Mummy want this to be the diary for you, Daddy and Mummy only.... at least for now... Auntie Faith forgot your name and called you little cao cao and it sounds kind of cute though.

Tonight Daddy will be coming home late as he has IPPT training. Mummy put baby in the jumperoo so that Mummy can finish dinner then attend to you... but.... when Mummy is almost finish, baby is already "chanting" at Mummy and Mummy got to entertain baby. It was funny to see that baby is angry and kicking your leg and in the end the jumperoo just bring baby up and down and baby is not expecting that. HAHAHHA...

Daddy managed to rush home early from Bedok camp as there is some problems with the traning registeration and he has to re-register to confirm a date again...  zzz... Daddy managed to rush home and played with little boy for a while and shared with us some good news at work. Let's wish Daddy the very very best at work and Jia you Jia you! !  :D

01.07.12 - Family Day!

Today Mummy and Baby managed to wake up earlier than Daddy which is a rare sight and bet Daddy must be very tired. Above pic is the evidence showing how much baby loves to sayang and adore his Daddy. Hehehe... That is really sweet my baby. Mummy is playing with baby while waiting for Daddy to open his eyes... Hahaha... we took family pic a few times and below is the final pic where Daddy finally managed to open his eyes.

We decided to drag ourselves out of bed and go for breakfast! Hehehe... below is Daddy who loves to take photo with baby when he is carrying baby using carrier and even pick a good spot to capture.

Today received our personalised beanie for our Mendel and Auntie Kath Reuven! Hehehe... phew... grey still looks kind of nice on our Mendel. As our baby is tanned... so everytime when getting clothes or accessories for baby we have to think of his skin colour. :P  HAHAHAHA...
Must be due to Mummy's comment before deliver.... Mummy once commented to another Mummy that babies with tanned skin looks kind of coooool........ Erm... Don't you just think so? HAHAHAHHA

Anyway, Mendel doesnt like to wear beanie! He keeps pulling it off and Daddy got to grab his hands so that Mummy can capture a few shots before the beanie is off. Hope this is the first time he is wearing and not the last time.

25.06.12 - Jumperoo (Almost Had It!)

Mummy finally managed to find a jumperoo that costs less than $100! But this morning, the seller emailed Mummy and said that we do not have a car and she doesn't want to waste her time to bring the jumperoo to us and in the end we do not want it as it is too bulky! Mummy is hurt.. though it sounds too serious to feel hurt but... Mummy really felt hurt... as Mummy is so happy that we finally managed to find a jumperoo and now this hapenned..... BUT luckily, after all the conversations we had thereafter... the seller is certain that we will get it and we have set to meet and collect on 27 June!

24.06.12 - Posession

See how possessive is Mummy and Daddy and also can you smell the "competition"? Hahahha...

Oh well... looks like Daddy has won for this round.

In late afternoon, we went to grandma house and we set up yao lan for baby hopefully baby can sleep longer at grandparents place. Baby is trying to get used to it and is humming himself away but not to sleep... kekeke... eventually after a few swing by Mummy baby managed to catch a 35min nap.

When awake, baby is playing by himself on mattress while Daddy is in the room and Mummy is doing some washing. Mummy constantly turn to look at baby to see he is ok and Mummy screamed when baby head almost knock on the floor when baby turn but it is too late...  even with Daddy dashing out from the room and with grandma just beside baby. Daddy patted baby and at night... baby seems to have nightmare as he screamed at 10+pm during his sleep.

23.06.12 - Visting Friends

Today we went to Aunty Kath and Uncle Chris house to view the renovation of their house and also to collect the Fisher Price Walker to Wagon which Mummy has bought. Baby slept on Aunty and Uncle's bed but just for a short nap abt 30min. Mummy is always concern that baby did not managed to sleep as much as when baby is at home... but guess baby will have to adapt. Still, baby is considered well behave for the day. :)
At night, we are off to causeway point to have mos burger then headed home.

22.06.12 - I Can Sit

Mummy is on leave today so Mummy took this chance to play with baby. Bringing some toys out and realised baby could sit up unassisted. Mummy tried to take a shot of it to show Daddy who is at work. After capturing this shot, little Mendel fell to his sides and cried....  oh oh!!!

Duuring nap, Mummy caught babt striking this pose! Er... are you dreaming of Michael? To think, the first time we caught baby looking at tv is when it is showing Michael Jackson's concert! Zzzz....

17.06.12 - As long as you are well

Daddy and Mummy is constantly unwell that we both went to chinese physician for medication to see if can improve our health. Ever since baby arrived, we started buying face masks in box. Anyhow, as long as baby is well... All is well...

When we are in grandma house in the afternoon, as usual.. baby will cry when grandma is trying to carry and when Mummy wants to fetch baby over to calm baby down, grandma asked Mummy not to as she likes to see baby cry......  zzzz....

15.06.12 - Happy Father's Day!!

Sunday is father's day but today, Daddy knock off early to bring us to airport for "celebration" though Daddy never mention. Hehehe... While Mummy is preparing, nanny called to say that she needs me to fetch baby earlier today as she needs to leave home at 6pm. Just nice, Mummy is going to fetch baby at 5:30pm. So after preparation, Mummy went to fetch baby but found baby still sleeping. Nanny mentioned that baby seems to be waiting for us to pick him up as he usually nap at 4:30pm but today he doesnt want to sleep and endure till 5:15pm then finally sleep. Seems like baby knows that Mummy and Daddy is fetching him early but Mummy never tell him about this and Mummy suspect Daddy must have told Mendel yesterday that we are going for a small celebration! So Mummy sit ard waiting for baby to wake up and the latest will be by 6pm if baby hasnt wake up we will have to carry baby up as nanny needs to leave home. At 5:50pm, Mummy heard baby call and baby is awake! Nanny has told him that she needs to go at 6pm and here baby wakes up before 6pm. Ola! Everyone is happy!!

At the airport, we had TCC and planned to go coffee club for another 1 for 1 but too bad coffee club doesn't have this promotion after 6pm. We ordered a main course plus desert before we make our way home.

Hope my dear enjoy the father's day celebration that he planned. Hahahha...

13.06.12 - Slept Through

Baby seems to have slept through after starting solid on Sunday (10 June). Mummy remembers she did her feed at 5am. Well done our boy!

Today Mummy is on leave and recently Mummy is crazy about buzzy after thinking what a good deal Mummy get after buying the cow. Zzzz...  So today, Mummy will be rushing to tampines to collect a puzzle book for our little baby who can even walk not to say piece the puzzle... well...

Tonight will be Mummy and Baby night as Daddy will be home late. While having dinner, Mummy saw a lizard (!!!!!!!!!!) and Mummy was sqeaking away and called Daddy. Baby was laughing at the sound Mummy makes not knowing the danger he is facing!!!!! HAHAHHAA.... Anyway, Daddy can't be rushing home to erm.. kill the lizard... so Mummy quickly finish her dinner with eagle eyes on the lizard while eating. Once done, Mummy and baby is off to the bedroom and baby had to sleep earlier tonight. Kekeke..

11.06.12 - Happy half year old my precious darling!!

This is our Mendel at 6 months old. Don't get such a shock little sweetie! Yes, you are already 6 months old!

Looking at the pics, we know that Mummy had a busy busy day. Hehehe.. well it is our Mendel half year old day... what do you think? Hahaha...

Mummy is on leave today as she needs to bring our baby for injection. As usual Mummy took a cab there.

When we reached, it is still a looong way before our turn. So Mummy went to have lunch at Kuofu which is just beside the clinic. Baby starts to get abit cranky as baby is sleepy.... and Mummy realised that she forgot to bring pacifier! While having lunch standing up due to cranky baby.... baby is not satisfied still. Mummy quickly finished lunch.. go into the clinic to find a good seat to make baby sleep... but still baby is not satisfied. So in the end Mummy went to buy a new pacifier for baby... and at last... baby is now sleeping. When almost reaching our turn, Mummy told the nurse that maybe we just went off for a while since baby is sleeping and I do not want baby to get up and immediately go for injection... this is also an excuse as Mummy is kind of paranoid sitting beside all the sick patients.... Anyway, its our turn and we get to see Mummy's fave GP. She gently measured baby head circumference.... weight and height... nice! Baby is now 7.1cm and weigh 7.6kg! Sounds good! Heheheh... GP commented she remembered baby as the good baby who didnt cry much... well... Mummy does not know if she really rmemebers baby but baby is sure a good boy who scream for a little while then stopped. Hugs.

Upon reaching home, we went to nanny place for nanny to show Mummy how to do the feeding correctly. Nanny was good she did it super fast and not much food wasted!

In the evening, Mummy told Daddy that she needs to go and get something and will not be joining for dinner. heheheh Daddy once commented that this cow is not useful but Mummy loves it as she saw a little kid sit on it and bounce ard in the Mums and Babes store! As much as Daddy think it is useless but Daddy will not object Mummy buying that and will even help Mummy to collect it. But.. er... Mummy just want to er.. keep it a secret (though Daddy know abt it even before Mummy collect it) and went to collect herself at woodlands then dash back home! Im sure cow cow will love his new  little master!!!

Sweet! It's a bit blur coz ye ye is helping to capture and ye ye is not familiar with it. Hahaha.

10.06.12 - First Semi Solid

What a funny sight! Baby just slept on Daddy's arms after Daddy carried him and pat him. Both must have worked very hard that's why so tired... Hahaha...

Today our baby had his first semi solid! Mummy and Daddy is excited. After all the preparation like cleaning up high chair, bowl, spoon and preparing cereal, we are all ready. So we put baby on high chair and starts feeding. Mummy must say that sunday is a lousy day to start as both grandpa and grandma is ard and sure bound to have lots of comments from them. During the feed baby seems to reject the cereal as it is too watery?? So grandma is commenting too watery and Mummy add few more teaspoon of baby rice to thicken it but still baby rejects it! Grandma then comment that we need to give baby toy?? play with baby?? baby dont like high chair??? and did she say watch tv?? Mummy cannot remember... anyway all these are all the no nos when educating baby.
Mummy decided to bring cereal to nanny tomorrow and see how she feed baby instead.
Alright, first semi solid experience.... both baby and Mummy hates it!!!

At night, we decided to shift back to our own room after Daddy has packed everything up nicely. Who knows, we found baby playing with his cot mobile and tiny love book in the middle of the night. Mummy fumed and carry baby out of cot to sleep with Daddy and Mummy. No more sleeping in cot with toys!

24.05.12 - Red Nails

Today Mummy saw baby's ears has blood!!!!  Baby must have been digging or scratching it so hard till bleed. Today is the first time Mummy cutting baby nails when baby is awake.

20.05.12 - Out of Bed

Today, baby fell down from bed in the early morning when both Mummy and Daddy were dead asleep!!  =...(  Heart pain... Mummy and Daddy jump out of bed and found baby on the floor... We are so guilty for being so careless when we know that our baby turn like 360 degrees all over.... Hugs... Baby must forgive us...

19.01.12 - First Gong Cha

Daddy bought Mummy her first Gong Cha after Mummy is tested positive till now. Somehow it doesn't taste as yummy now...

15.01.12 - Mittens Booties No More!

Today, baby has graduated from "mittens and booties"!! Yeah!!

Later Mommy learnt from other Mommies that we should still be wearing socks for baby at night in case cold. Ops!

14.01.12 - Mummy is Spoilt!

Daddy is still brewing red dates tea for mummy after confinement lady left and plan to do it till 40days of confinement. Daddy will patiently pick out the longan flesh for mummy out from the slow cooker with other herbs as mummy loves the longan flesh!

13.01.12 - Love This Sight

Today we went to TMC for hearing test on baby's left side which he failed. Daddy and Mommy waited anxiously for baby and yeah baby is out and has passed his hearing test! Mucks!! There were headphone marks on baby's ear. Well done my boy!

While sleeping, Mommy accidentally hit baby as we were sleeping on the same bed. Mommy is still not used to it! Sorry baby!! Ops! I... won't do it again!

Daddy simply enjoys sleeping together with baby :)

12.01.12 - Check check

Today is our first day without confinement auntie. Mummy got to do afternoon feed and this is how Mummy check whether baby is sleeping after each feed. So far so great!

09.01.12 - Mark of my Birth

Went to PD today for review which supposed to be on 11th but Mommy can't wait to see doc on baby's skin. Mommy is really sad to confirm that baby's eye has a tear like birthmark which only appears 2-3 weeks after birth. Mommy is hating herself for not paying enough attention to baby to know when it EXACTLY appear! Mommy is devastated and went online to search for all possibilities to remove or lighten it. Mommy tried to put some Pigeon Olive oil and the reflection on the oil does seems to make the mark looks lighter. Mommy is lying to herself... she knows...

PD saw baby doing stretching (struggling) which Mommy has been thinking baby is doing exercise which is good! Who knows, PD mentioned that is actually colic! She said that maybe baby is good natured so he is having colic but didn't not scream and cry instead he just struggle and calm down on his own. Mommy is feeling so so guilty having baby to solve the problem all by himself whereas Mommy is still blaming him for not sleeping after feed and keep struggling!

At 11pm after feed, Mommy put baby back to cot and about to swaddle him. Baby gave mummy a sweet lovely smile. Love my darling to bits!

06.01.11 - Full Month Card

Mummy submitted a photo (Thanks to auntie Jessie) to Sweetest Moments for baby's full month card but was advised by Sweetest Moments that the photo is not suitable for the design Mummy chosen so Mummy got to choose a different design for it. So Mummy just (almost anyhow) choose one of the design recommended by the staff. After a while Mummy received the final product but Mummy doesn't like it and request to try with a different design... To have a different design Mummy got to pay $10 for it... Zzzz...

Later Mummy called them up to check with them on the original design Mummy wants and why the photo can't fit. They explain they need a landscape photo instead of portrait. So Mummy quickly edit the portrait photo to make it landscape and send it over. It is ok for the original design now but still have to pay $10. Mummy managed to reason out and got it waived. Wahahaha... Happy with the original design Mummy first chose.

04.01.12 - Laughter and Tears

Today, Jessie auntie came and help me to take photos. Mummy and Daddy was not very prepared with my outfit etc. as we thought that should be just something casual so no preparation done. Jessie auntie is very patient and sincere. Thank you auntie for all the photos in advance!

Tonight, Mummy was thinking why is it so quiet in the CL room when CL is supposed to feed baby and decided to go and take a look at how baby is doing. Mummy broke down in tears when she saw CL is sleeping on the side of the bed with baby on her chest and not holding on to baby. Mummy walk to CL and she suddenly awake and Mummy quickly carry baby back to room.... weeping....

02.01.12 - Grandparents Visit

Thanks grandma and grandpa for the gifts for baby's full month. When baby "eh"... grandma quickly walk to the play pen but baby is still sleeping... hahahaha... grandma is hoping baby will wake up so that grandma can see how baby looks like when awake.

After grandma and grandpa left, Mummy realised the clothes is too small for baby to wear now... :(
