22.06.12 - I Can Sit

Mummy is on leave today so Mummy took this chance to play with baby. Bringing some toys out and realised baby could sit up unassisted. Mummy tried to take a shot of it to show Daddy who is at work. After capturing this shot, little Mendel fell to his sides and cried....  oh oh!!!

Duuring nap, Mummy caught babt striking this pose! Er... are you dreaming of Michael? To think, the first time we caught baby looking at tv is when it is showing Michael Jackson's concert! Zzzz....

17.06.12 - As long as you are well

Daddy and Mummy is constantly unwell that we both went to chinese physician for medication to see if can improve our health. Ever since baby arrived, we started buying face masks in box. Anyhow, as long as baby is well... All is well...

When we are in grandma house in the afternoon, as usual.. baby will cry when grandma is trying to carry and when Mummy wants to fetch baby over to calm baby down, grandma asked Mummy not to as she likes to see baby cry......  zzzz....

15.06.12 - Happy Father's Day!!

Sunday is father's day but today, Daddy knock off early to bring us to airport for "celebration" though Daddy never mention. Hehehe... While Mummy is preparing, nanny called to say that she needs me to fetch baby earlier today as she needs to leave home at 6pm. Just nice, Mummy is going to fetch baby at 5:30pm. So after preparation, Mummy went to fetch baby but found baby still sleeping. Nanny mentioned that baby seems to be waiting for us to pick him up as he usually nap at 4:30pm but today he doesnt want to sleep and endure till 5:15pm then finally sleep. Seems like baby knows that Mummy and Daddy is fetching him early but Mummy never tell him about this and Mummy suspect Daddy must have told Mendel yesterday that we are going for a small celebration! So Mummy sit ard waiting for baby to wake up and the latest will be by 6pm if baby hasnt wake up we will have to carry baby up as nanny needs to leave home. At 5:50pm, Mummy heard baby call and baby is awake! Nanny has told him that she needs to go at 6pm and here baby wakes up before 6pm. Ola! Everyone is happy!!

At the airport, we had TCC and planned to go coffee club for another 1 for 1 but too bad coffee club doesn't have this promotion after 6pm. We ordered a main course plus desert before we make our way home.

Hope my dear enjoy the father's day celebration that he planned. Hahahha...

13.06.12 - Slept Through

Baby seems to have slept through after starting solid on Sunday (10 June). Mummy remembers she did her feed at 5am. Well done our boy!

Today Mummy is on leave and recently Mummy is crazy about buzzy after thinking what a good deal Mummy get after buying the cow. Zzzz...  So today, Mummy will be rushing to tampines to collect a puzzle book for our little baby who can even walk not to say piece the puzzle... well...

Tonight will be Mummy and Baby night as Daddy will be home late. While having dinner, Mummy saw a lizard (!!!!!!!!!!) and Mummy was sqeaking away and called Daddy. Baby was laughing at the sound Mummy makes not knowing the danger he is facing!!!!! HAHAHHAA.... Anyway, Daddy can't be rushing home to erm.. kill the lizard... so Mummy quickly finish her dinner with eagle eyes on the lizard while eating. Once done, Mummy and baby is off to the bedroom and baby had to sleep earlier tonight. Kekeke..

11.06.12 - Happy half year old my precious darling!!

This is our Mendel at 6 months old. Don't get such a shock little sweetie! Yes, you are already 6 months old!

Looking at the pics, we know that Mummy had a busy busy day. Hehehe.. well it is our Mendel half year old day... what do you think? Hahaha...

Mummy is on leave today as she needs to bring our baby for injection. As usual Mummy took a cab there.

When we reached, it is still a looong way before our turn. So Mummy went to have lunch at Kuofu which is just beside the clinic. Baby starts to get abit cranky as baby is sleepy.... and Mummy realised that she forgot to bring pacifier! While having lunch standing up due to cranky baby.... baby is not satisfied still. Mummy quickly finished lunch.. go into the clinic to find a good seat to make baby sleep... but still baby is not satisfied. So in the end Mummy went to buy a new pacifier for baby... and at last... baby is now sleeping. When almost reaching our turn, Mummy told the nurse that maybe we just went off for a while since baby is sleeping and I do not want baby to get up and immediately go for injection... this is also an excuse as Mummy is kind of paranoid sitting beside all the sick patients.... Anyway, its our turn and we get to see Mummy's fave GP. She gently measured baby head circumference.... weight and height... nice! Baby is now 7.1cm and weigh 7.6kg! Sounds good! Heheheh... GP commented she remembered baby as the good baby who didnt cry much... well... Mummy does not know if she really rmemebers baby but baby is sure a good boy who scream for a little while then stopped. Hugs.

Upon reaching home, we went to nanny place for nanny to show Mummy how to do the feeding correctly. Nanny was good she did it super fast and not much food wasted!

In the evening, Mummy told Daddy that she needs to go and get something and will not be joining for dinner. heheheh Daddy once commented that this cow is not useful but Mummy loves it as she saw a little kid sit on it and bounce ard in the Mums and Babes store! As much as Daddy think it is useless but Daddy will not object Mummy buying that and will even help Mummy to collect it. But.. er... Mummy just want to er.. keep it a secret (though Daddy know abt it even before Mummy collect it) and went to collect herself at woodlands then dash back home! Im sure cow cow will love his new  little master!!!

Sweet! It's a bit blur coz ye ye is helping to capture and ye ye is not familiar with it. Hahaha.

10.06.12 - First Semi Solid

What a funny sight! Baby just slept on Daddy's arms after Daddy carried him and pat him. Both must have worked very hard that's why so tired... Hahaha...

Today our baby had his first semi solid! Mummy and Daddy is excited. After all the preparation like cleaning up high chair, bowl, spoon and preparing cereal, we are all ready. So we put baby on high chair and starts feeding. Mummy must say that sunday is a lousy day to start as both grandpa and grandma is ard and sure bound to have lots of comments from them. During the feed baby seems to reject the cereal as it is too watery?? So grandma is commenting too watery and Mummy add few more teaspoon of baby rice to thicken it but still baby rejects it! Grandma then comment that we need to give baby toy?? play with baby?? baby dont like high chair??? and did she say watch tv?? Mummy cannot remember... anyway all these are all the no nos when educating baby.
Mummy decided to bring cereal to nanny tomorrow and see how she feed baby instead.
Alright, first semi solid experience.... both baby and Mummy hates it!!!

At night, we decided to shift back to our own room after Daddy has packed everything up nicely. Who knows, we found baby playing with his cot mobile and tiny love book in the middle of the night. Mummy fumed and carry baby out of cot to sleep with Daddy and Mummy. No more sleeping in cot with toys!
